What are your shipping fees?

We use USPS to send orders from our flagship store in Mount Tremper, NY 12457. Our flat rate shipping fees as follows are based on five zones within the continental USA only. 

  • $10.95 - ZONE 1: CT, DC, DL, MD, NY, NJ, PA, VA
  • $11.45 - ZONE 2: AL, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MA, ME, MI, NC, NH, OH, RI, SC, TN, VT, WV
  • $11.95 - ZONE 3: CO, IA, KS, LA, MN, MO, WI
  • $12.45 - ZONE 4: AZ, AK, MS, NE, OK, SD, TX, WY
  • $12.95 - ZONE 5: CA, ID, MT, NV, NM, ND, OR, UT, WA  

    When will my order be shipped, and how soon will I get it?
    All of our items are handmade to order, therefore your order will require (5) full business days to process. You should then receive the order in approximately (3) business days from the time of shipping, depending on your location. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email from us with tracking. We appreciate your patience.

    Can I pick up my order at the store?
    Yes! We call this BOPIS (Buy Online Pick-up In Store). You can place your order online and then select "pick-up" at check out. You can then pick up your order at our Mt Tremper store. You will receive an email once your order is ready.

      What if I don't live in the continental USA?
      Currently, we are only shipping within the continental USA. We hope to add more locations in the near future. If you live outside of this area please contact us via email at customleathercreationsNY@gmail.com and we can try to accommodate your request. 

      Can I get an item on your site additionally customized with a different design or size?
      You sure can. Customization is the name of our game. Simply email us at customleathercreationsNY@gmail.com for more info and pricing.

      What if the item I want is not in stock?
      We will inform you by email if an item is out of stock and tell you how long the lead-time is expected to be for the item to come back into stock. At that point you can choose to cancel the order or wait until it's available.

      What is your return policy?
      Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any belts or name-bracelets as they are all custom-made. ALL SALES FINAL. Any other merchandise purchased from customleathercreations.com may be returned for customleathercreations.com store credit (minus original shipping fees) within 30 days of delivery of goods by Custom Leather Creations. Returned items must be in their original condition. Refunds are not issued except in the case of defective merchandise we are unable to replace. Custom Leather Creations is unable to accept returns on sale merchandise, special order items (all belts and name bracelets), items returned without a receipt or invoice and items received more than 30 days after delivery.

      How do I return / exchange an item?
      Your online Custom Leather Creations merchandise can be returned in person to our store or by UPS, FedEx or USPS. If you choose to ship a returned purchase, please completely fill out the back of your order invoice and include it with your return shipment.

      Any returned merchandise must include the original receipt and must be in its original undamaged condition. Upon receipt and inspection of goods the appropriate exchange or merchandise store credit for the amount reflected on the original receipt (minus any shipping and gift wrapping charges) will be processed. All merchandise being returned is at the customer's expense and we recommend insuring the package prior to shipping. Please note that additional shipping charges will apply to exchanges. Once the return is received we will email you confirmation of the return. If you are requesting a credit we will send you a store credit memo via email. As stated above, refunds are not issued except in the case of defective merchandise we are unable to replace.

      How do I measure my waist to order a belt correctly?
      Put on a pair of pants without a belt, place them high or low on your hips  - where you'd wear them. Then using a sewing kit style tape measure, measure your waist in inches over your pants. Round up or down to the nearest even size.

      Where does your leather come from?
      We used tanned cow hides of different weights or thickness from a variety of high quality leather sources.

        Can I order online?
        Of course! We're happy to now offer our custom leather products for online purchases here on our website. Get shopping.

        Can I order a gift certificate?
        You bet. You can purchase an online gift certificate here. Available in denominations of $25-$250, e-gift certificates are sent directly to the buyer's email address where they can then be forwarded to the recipient(s). They're instantly redeemable at CustomLeatherCreations.com or at our Mt Tremper NY flagship shop.

        Our online shop is open 24/7 but our Mt Tremper shop is open Mon-Fri: 10a-1p & 6:30p-8p, Sat & Sun: 10a-6p
